Vegas Open

About the Event

For those of you who have enjoyed playing combat archery using official Archery TagĀ® equipment, or some knockoff version (arrow tag, dodgebow, archery attack, upshot, etc), this is your opportunity to show off your skills and compete in a legitimate sanctioned Extreme Archery tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada at the South Point Casino with a $10,000 cash payout to the winning team.

The sport is Extreme Archery, and is sanctioned by the new governing body, the International Extreme Archery Federation. This organization was formed to define the rules and structure of the sport, and to bring organization and develop what has been commonly known around the globe as Archery Tag (also referred to as combat archery, dodgebow, arrow tag, etc). It's mission is to create an organized sanctioned sport where players can compete with a purpose.

Teams consist of 6-8 players with 4 players on the field during game play. Matches are made up of 3 eight minute Periods. Teams can rotate players at the end of a Period. Each player will have their own stats so they can monitor their performance throughout the tournament. Referees will be scoring "hits" "catches", "strikes" (when you hit another player), and "penalties". This will determine your overall stats, or "net value" to the team.

Registration fee is $1,000 per team. Space is limited to 20 teams. Each team will be required to designate 1 team member as a referee. This team member will go through our referee training program and will be required to referee 2 matches during the tournament.

Players need to join IEAF as a paid member and teams will need to purchase matching official IEAF jerseys and shorts from our online store.

Spectator fee: $15 per day or $25 for the weekend.
